There is a hack going around that infects Chrome browsers and causes a large popup in the middle of your screen. The popup says that there has been a massive databreach involving Fiserv and it affects thousands of people who have a Citibank or "Community Credit Union" account. In the middle of the pop up is a button marked "Check your credit score".
Do NOT click that button.
It is a scam that will install spyware on your computer if you click that button.
Based on evidence we have seen, malware has been installed without your permission, that adds an "extension" to your Chrome browser. Until you can get that fixed, stop using Chrome and switch to another browser like Internet Explorer or Firefox.
We have no evidence that this hack is coming from our website. It was probably installed from another site you visited, and it may have involved the "Digital Personna" extension to your Chrome Browser.
Run a Malware Remover
If you feel confident in fixing these types of situations, consider downloading and installing Malwarebytes (https://www.malwarebytes.com/mwb-download/thankyou/) and then letting it run a scan of your computer. You get a free 14-day trial (no need to supply a credit card or other payment method) and can uninstall it at any time. This program has been shown to remove the malware that is causing the popup mentioned in this article.
